This is a large fundraiser for the Family Health Partnership Clinic's breast cancer foundation. They provide services to uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients in McHenry County. There's typically several thousand participants in the race, along with 500-600 volunteers. You should expect a lot of pink (so maybe wear some... the crazier, the better), a huge crowd before the race, which starts at 8:30 AM, a lull, and then a bigger crowd after the race. Award ceremony is in the Main Gym, which is where the Food Shed Co-op will be set up.
