The Environmental Defenders of McHenry County and the Village of Algonquin are sponsoring the 9th annual “It’s Our River Day” celebration and clean-up. This statewide celebration is FREE to the public. The event aims to educate residents about how they can help preserve and protect natural resources. Adults and kids will enjoy learning about the environment by visiting more than 20 booths with educational information, volunteer opportunities including helping with clean-up along the Fox River, kids activities, presentations, and more. Free, family-fun, with groups welcome!

The Food Shed Co-op will have a table with information, ownerships and co-op merchandise at this event.
