Our Birthday Party on Earth Day was a huge success!
We packed Crystal Lake Brewing, enjoyed wonderful live music, fantastic food and great beer! Plus, we signed up 20 new owners that night! Our donors and vendors all deserve a big THANK YOU! Check the Shop Local page on our website and support the local businesses and organizations who support Food Shed Co-op.

What's going on now?
GROWing our ownership numbers is our number one priority right now. We need to reach 500 owners before we can select a location, so we are getting out in the community and spreading the word anywhere we can this summer!

Volunteers and members of our board will be available to answer your questions and sign up new owners at three reoccurring monthly events this summer. This is a great opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation about our community-owned grocery store! Shirts, hoodies, totes and window decals will be available at two of the three ongoing events.
First Fridays at Crystal Lake Brewing, 6-8pm, ownerships and merchandise available
Coffee and Conversation at Ethereal Confections on Second Saturdays, 10am-Noon, ownerships and merchandise available
Woodstock Farmer's Market on Third Saturdays, 8am-1pm, ownerships available

Keep on top of all of our events, check the main events page often. If you are a Google Calendar user, click the icon in the bottom right corner of our calendar and subscribe. When we add a new event, it will show up on your calendar so you will never miss a thing!


Volunteer Opportunities
We have a plot in the Giving Garden at Soulful Prairies again this year and need your help tending the garden. Sign up on the volunteer page of our website or send an email to [email protected] if you want to find out more.
Food Shed Co-op will be in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade again this year and we need you to walk with us! Click here to sign up. Vegetable costumes are encouraged, but not required.
We also need help at many of our ongoing events and events that are coming in July and August. Visit the events listings on our website to volunteer.
