The Food Shed Co-op is a community-owned grocery store that will offer healthy food choices and the benefits of cooperation to grow a vibrant local community and more eco-friendly world. We collaborate with local farmers and suppliers to enable healthy choices by bringing sustainable products, services and education to our community.
The Food Shed Co-op will offer more LOCAL, more ORGANIC and HEALTHY NATURAL FOODS! Products will be fairly priced and our vendors and staff will be fairly paid.
Groundbreaking News!
We broke ground and have begun the building process! The Foodshed property is located on the corner of RT 14 and E Lake Shore Drive in Woodstock near McHenry County College, just a few minutes north of Crystal Lake. An 8000 sq ft building is planned for the property with approximately 6500 sq ft of retail space.
