The Food Shed Co-op is looking for volunteers to man our tabling events at the Farmer's Market at the Dole. Volunteer shifts are 2 1/2 hours. Two shifts are available for each of the Farmer's Market events - an opening shift and a closing shift. Both shifts will have an EXPERIENCED Food Shed Co-op member sitting with you that can answer any questions or comments that come up during the shift.

Opening shift volunteers will be tasked with setting up the Food Shed Co-op table approximately 45 minutes before the market opens. Volunteers will then be expected to sit at the table during the opening shift to greet Farmer's Market shoppers, discuss and relay information about the Food Shed Co-op, and to promote and sign up new owners. Volunteers during this shift will ALWAYS have an experienced Food Shed Co-op member with them to assist them with any questions or comments that they cannot answer.

Closing shift volunteers will be tasked with breaking down the Food Shed Co-op table arrangement at the conclusion of the Farmer's Market. During this shift, volunteers will be expected to sit at the table to greet Farmer's Market shoppers, discuss and relay information about the Food Shed Co-op, and to promote and sign up new owners. At the conclusion of the market, the closing volunteers will be tasked with breaking down the Food Shed Co-op table, loading equipment, and cleaning up the surrounding area. Volunteers during this shift will ALWAYS have an experienced Food Shed Co-op member with them to assist them with any questions or comments that they cannot answer.
